Untold:
Addictions

This is a story about Corey MacGregor, a loving father, best-friend, big brother, and son. Like so many young people, Corey’s relationship with substances started when he was experiencing a mental health struggle. Although he did eventually reach out for support and treatment, he lost his life to addiction in early 2021, leaving his family to wonder what could have been different if Corey had been able to reach out earlier and receive the judgement-free care he needed. They hope that telling his story will help create a country where those who live with addiction are treated like those who live with any other illness. Where the stigma associated with addiction is a thing of the past. And where people get the support and treatment they need to heal.
